Destiny's Child singer Michelle Williams has been named Hope Ambassador for non-profit childhood cancer organisation Hyundai Hope On Wheels, an honorary position given to influential figures willing to help bring awareness to the cause.

Williams has been involved in several events for the charity, including a performance at the launch of awareness-raising campaign Just One Wish, and said in an interview about the organisation 'Cancer is the leading cause of [disease-related] death in children... let's help provide a cure. Even if it's not a cure, how about a better quality of life'.
